Announcing Our Q1 2026 Grant Recipients!
Apply for a grantGrant cycle timelineFAQsPast recipients
We are thrilled to share the two families selected for Gift of Parenthood grants this cycle. Before we introduce them, we want to speak directly to every applicant who is reading this:
If you applied and were not selected, please know that your story matters. Our review committee is not looking for the most difficult journey or the most dramatic circumstances. We are looking for applications that reflect the heart of our mission: hope, resilience, and a deep desire to grow a family. Those qualities live in every application we receive, and the limits of our funding are the only reason we cannot say yes to every family. We hope you will apply again.
Emily and Andrew, from New Jersey
Emily is a schoolteacher whose days are spent caring for and nurturing children, and whose greatest dream has always been to raise children of her own with her husband Andrew. They are a couple defined by patience, faith, and a steady commitment to family. With healthy embryos already created and a clear path forward, this grant helps move them closer to meeting the child they have been dreaming of for years.
In their own words: "We would raise our child with empathy, gratitude, and an enduring commitment to paying forward the kindness we have received."
Chiamaka, from Walsall, England
Chiamaka is surrounded by a family and community whose faith and love have carried her through every chapter of this journey. She is currently in active treatment, and this grant arrives at a moment when it can make a tangible difference in what comes next. Her story is one of perseverance, of leaning on community, and of holding onto hope when it would be easier to let go.
In her own words: "We carry the hopes of a village."
About Our Selection Process
Every quarter, we review applications from hundreds of hopeful parents whose stories span every imaginable path to parenthood. Some have faced medical challenges, some are navigating costs that quietly close doors, some are single parents by choice, some are LGBTQ+ couples, and some are simply families for whom the math of building a family does not add up without help. All of them are worthy. All of them inspire us.
If you applied this cycle and were not selected, we have credited your account to support a future application, and we genuinely hope you will reapply. Our community grows stronger every cycle, and so does our capacity to give.
To Our Donor Community
Thank you. Every grant we award, and every credit we extend to a family who will try again, exists because of your generosity. You are the reason hope keeps moving forward here.
With gratitude, The Gift of Parenthood Team
